Turtle Conservation
At Saint Peter’s Bay Luxury Resort & Residences, we believe in the importance of preserving the natural beauty of our surroundings and protecting the creatures that call it home. In particular, we are passionate about sea turtle conservation and education to maintain the balance of marine ecosystems.
Our resort offers a range of educational activities and experiences for guests of all ages, including guided tours of local sea turtle nesting sites, informative talks and workshops by marine biologists, and hands-on opportunities to participate in sea turtle research and conservation efforts.
Through these initiatives, we hope to inspire our guests to become advocates for sustainable practices and to help protect these magnificent creatures for generations to come.
Here are some of the ways you can help us
Save the Turtles
- Turn off all lights on the beach at night (including camera lights), as bright lights can disorient hatchlings and cause them to head away from the ocean instead of towards it.
- Do not disturb nesting areas or eggs, and keep a safe distance from nesting turtles.
- Properly dispose of all trash, as litter can harm turtles and other marine life.
- Participate in our beach cleanups and conservation efforts to help protect sea turtles and their habitats.
